From 4 to 12 July 2026<\/strong>, Fano becomes Fanum Fortunae<\/strong> once again with La Fano dei Cesari in the City of Vitruvius<\/strong>: a major historical reenactment bringing the atmospheres, shows and traditions of Ancient Rome into the heart of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special edition dedicated to the bond between Fano<\/strong> and Marcus Vitruvius Pollio<\/strong>, in a journey through history, identity and wonder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nox Saldi Imperialis and Opening Ceremony<\/b><\/h2>\n

On Saturday 4 July<\/b>, Piazza XX Settembre<\/b> will host the official opening of La Fano dei Cesari<\/b>. For the occasion, the historic centre will also come alive with the start of the sales, in a special evening of Roman atmosphere, events, shopping and a desire to experience the city.<\/p>\n

This will be followed by a concert by Raffi<\/b>, the artist currently opening Vasco Rossi\u2019s tour<\/b>, to kick off the celebration with music and energy.<\/p>\n

Chariot Race<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Carpe Diem – The Banquet of the Caesars<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Banquet of the Caesars<\/strong> is a Roman-themed dinner, with participants dressed in historical costumes, music and a DJ set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A convivial and evocative evening to fully experience the spirit of the event, among reenactment, sharing and celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Historical Camps, Gladiators, Dance and Fano dei Cesarini<\/b><\/h2>\n

During La Fano dei Cesari<\/b>, Fano\u2019s historic centre turns into a true open-air museum. Among historical camps, guided tours, the fire ritual and Roman dances, citizens and visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Ancient Rome.<\/p>\n

This year also sees the return of Fano dei Cesarini<\/b>, the competition designed for children.<\/p>\n\n
