The A.N.M.I. of Fano is pleased to invite you and all citizens to the conference entitled "THE RESCUE OPERATION OF THE 8TH NAVAL GROUP IN SOUTH-EAST ASIA (JULY-AUGUST 1979)", held by Admiral Pio Bracco.

In the summer of 1979, at the request of President Pertini, the Navy carried out a rescue mission in the southern China Sea, rescuing over 900 refugees, who were landed in Venice. Admiral Bracco, who participated in this mission, will talk about it on 5 May 2023 at 21:00, at the ANMI headquarters in Fano.
