Mostra dell’artista Mario Modica

Mario Modica is a versatile and eclectic artist of great ability, with great attention to detail, realizing it with skill and precision.

Born in Foggia, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, moved to Bologna, where he lives and still works.

Mario Modica is a famous painter, famous for his countless oils and watercolors. He also measured himself with ceramics and sculpture, producing works for religious and public commissions. He taught drawing and art history in high schools and was president of theU.C.A.I. of Bologna. He was artistic director of the Fair of Vallo della Lucania and director of the Museum Giambattista Vico in the Palazzo de Vergas in Vatolla (SA).

He has over fifty solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
