Traditional fairytale princesses raised us and continue to do so. But today, whether from a book, a film or a series, Cinderella and Buffy, Snow White and Sailor Moon, Mulan and Xena, the Little Mermaid and Scully also serve to make the cages of sexism, homophobia and racism visible. It's not an ethical or politically correct question, it's a necessity: we need new stories to be able to relocate ourselves in a world where stereotyped models are losing their centrality.
