Walking trough the History: digital itineraries trough the Via Flaminia – GUIDED TOUR

GRAN TOUR DEI MUSEI 2023 - XV EDITION (From 13 to 18 May)

The Gran Tour Musei 2023 - initiative now in its fifteenth edition and promoted by the Department of Culture of the Marche Region and the Marche Cultura Foundation in collaboration with the mic - Ministry of Culture Regional Direction Museums Marche and the Regional Coordination Marche by ICOM Italy - this year focuses on "Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing - Cultural Welfare and museums", deepening in particular the use of new digital technologies as a tool for sharing culture to protect the environment and biodiversity.

For this reason, on Thursday May 18, on the occasion of the International Day of Museums, the Museum of the Via Flaminia will be open in via del tutto straordinaria. It will be the protagonist of the occasion through a guided tour: an itinerary that will allow the viewer to walk through centuries of history thanks to immersive digital technologies. A story that takes place inside the ancient former Church of San Michele between virtual reconstructions, augmented reality and multimedia installations in which the Roman antiquities of the Strada Consolare Flaminia come back to life in all their magnificence.
