The Event
The Malatesta in Fano is a historical re-enactment dedicated to the ruling family that profoundly shaped the city’s history.
For three days, the historic centre is transformed into a vast medieval stage, with costumed characters, music, performances and historical reconstructions. An immersive experience that brings the atmosphere and charm of Malatesta-era Fano back to life.
Historical parades, knightly duels, medieval markets, encampments, performances and activities for children fill the city’s streets and squares.
