From 24 to 28 June 2026, Passaggi Festival della Saggistica returns for its fourteenth edition. The festival is dedicated to non-fiction books, dialogue, in-depth discussion and ideas, with meetings, book presentations, workshops, exhibitions, readings, guided tours and events spread across the historic centre and seafront.
The sense of measure: ideas, cities, civilisation
The theme of the 2026 edition is “The sense of measure. Ideas, cities, civilisation. From Vitruvius to the present day”, inspired by the recent discovery of the Basilica of Vitruvius in Fano’s historic centre. It is a guiding thread that invites reflection on the relationship between thought, the city, harmony, the environment and coexistence.
Passaggi Festival transforms Fano into a true cultural hub, with events taking place throughout the day and engaging different audiences: readers, families, young people, cultural travellers and curious visitors.
A cultural experience to enjoy on foot
Taking part in Passaggi Festival means experiencing Fano through some of its most beautiful places: squares, historic venues, cultural spaces and sea views become the natural stage for meetings with authors, conversations, workshops, exhibitions and moments of reflection.
Festival events are free of charge, except for guided tours, and the venues can be reached on foot. It is the perfect opportunity to discover the city at a slower pace, surrounded by culture, the sea and local life.
